When I saw these prop-sets I had to get them immediately! Only cost $5.97 (3 x $1.99) for the classic 1930's car, the exterior club set and the GIRL pose set.

(The GIRL, Dress and Hair are NOT included of course.)

Glad DAZ is offering something different than just sci-fi fantasy dungeon stuff. I get those items when they are only $1.99 but never wind up using them. These 1920's-30's era props are really EXCELLENT! Can't believe what a deal!

I had actually just yesterday bought Neftis's French hair for my Motown Supreme's girls, plus Mr. Bunny. But these new DAZ Props really got me side-tracked!

Can see lots of possibilities. Would be great too for "Roger Rabbit" movie scenes with Jessica Rabbit...

NTW The DCM Summer outfit shoes are being updated (hopefully today).. I added morphs in the shoes to make VERY high heeled pumps from them, pointed toes, and also hide the bow on them. The dress really needed stillettos to go along with it.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

I agree, I'm looking forward to grabbing these things! I've been wanting some 1940s stuff, woohoo! eric

That was supposed to be BTW... LOL! That's what I get for replying early in the am...

FYI, the "1930's car" is a 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe sedan. I'm glad to hear you like it.

Veritas777 ( ) posted Thu, 12 August 2004 at 1:38 PM

At DAZ they always make these as "AM Cars" or something like that. I guess they want to avoid making a brand ID like "Chevrolet". Glad you can give it the official ID! I really like all your cars Duddly and hope you might make further add-on kits for them. I especially like your classic Woodie- hope you do more CLASSICS too. This '36 Chevy would be cool if there was a Woodie add-on kit. Other nice Add-ons would be a NYC Checkered Cab Mat. It would also make an excellent pre-war Army Staff Car with olive drab paint, white stars, etc. Can't believe I got this Baby for only $1.99!

Oh- forgot to mention- would also make a GREAT 30's era Police Car for chasing bank robbers! ("Calling All Cars, Calling All Cars, Be on the Lookout for a big chested Toon babe with small tush, wearing lowcut red dress... she didn't do anything- just be on the LOOKOUT!")

Or a 1967 GTO rag top with the over and under head lights!!! Darn it, I miss my car.

SpottedKitty ( ) posted Thu, 12 August 2004 at 7:47 PM

Excellent — I'm on the lookout for mid-30s-era stuff for something else I'm working on, and this car is perfect!

Added to my things-to-buy-when-my-next-payslip-arrives list. =)

I wish someone would make an early 1980s Rolls-Royce Silver Spur.

What model car is This?

cooler ( ) posted Thu, 12 August 2004 at 11:01 PM

the ZZ top car is a custom 1933 Ford split window coupe that IIRC is owned by one of the band members.

My dad used to own a 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Coupe when I was a kid - bought it off of his aunt for only $200 and drove it back and forth to his factory job for a long time in the late 60's and early 70's. Looked pretty much like the picture only the paint was more faded.

It was in fantastic running order and the body was in pretty good shape as well. By the time I got my DL he had it pretty much garaged up and sold it sometime in the 80's to a man who couldn't believe he could actually drive it away. :)

Maybe I'll buy that AM car and do a cool render for Dad, print it out, frame it, etc. :)

Brynna, suddenly inspired... thanks, Duddly! Message edited on: 08/13/2004 01:37
