It looks super, Mike! Thanks for putting the word in. Also thanks for pointing out the tutorial section; I hadn't even noticed it there before, yet there it is in plain sight -- LOL! Well now I'm going back to modeling in Vue. I've got 64 models done thus far, and I'm going to have a few more added to that before they reach the web. And yes, I'll announce them here when they're ready...and probably add a couple to the free stuff area, too. :) VarianNo problem, Varian. 64 MODELS!! You don't sleep, do you? I think someone asked you that before, for that matter. ;) Well, I for one will be watching out for them. I haven't tried much modelling in Vue, so you realize you're gonna need a tutorial or two to go along with your models. ;) I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of models can be created with Vue. The boolean techniques work pretty well, I think, but so far I've done only simple stuff. Well, I'm rambling now.... C-ya later! cheers, Mike
Sleep...hehe, yeah, I try to fit some in at least once or twice a week. ;) I began a tutorial last year for building with Vue's Boolean operations. Never completed it because I got wrapped up in other things. However, this may be the perfect time for me to return to it, especially since it has a Christmas-theme and that time is coming around again! Vue's modeling options are fantastic. You can build very simple items, as you've found. You can also take it as far as you like to make them more complex. It all depends on what you need/want. The only drawback on the more complex items is that the polygon count is higher, naturally. I try to do stuff towards the middle or simple end just to keep the file sizes down. Now I'm rambling, heh! Another few days, and I'll have something to show. :) Varian

Hi, I had contacted Rcook earlier, at Varian's suggestion, to change the heading "Vue" to "Vue d'Esprit" in the tutorials section. That has now been done. :) Also, no longer is the entire tutorials section named "Poser Tutorials", but now is called "Digital Arts", or something to that effect, which I'm proud to say was based on a suggestion of mine, based on Varian noticing it and pointing it out to me. Imagine that-- cool, eh? Well, back to Vue-ing. :) For the rest of you, that is-- I'm cleaning and painting right now, and I DON'T mean the fun kind of painting! LOL Cheers, Mike
