Subject: One More Time..

I want to thank all of you for your views, comments and support these past several months. I consider so many of you my friends..and have received such inspiration from your work. "The Fugitive" is my last image in the fractal gallery. I've stopped running from fractal to fractal and comment to comment, as if there were nothing else of import in my world. I can't seem to curtail my frenzied fashioning, so I'm taking control of my mental and physical health, since both have been jeapordized by this all-consuming activity. I hope I don't sound ungrateful. I do appreciate our online relationship and your continuing encouragement and support, but I need- once again, to pay more attention to my offline relationships and pursuits that have eternal significance to me. Be good and kind to eachother. I sense such uneasiness in the gallery during the past week. No matter how good an artist is, it doesn't give him/her license to make another feel unworthy or unwanted. On the other hand, it's important to remember that Renderosity is an international community, and- as such, is vulnerable to misunderstandings.
Best wishes to each of you. Would love to hear from you from time to time. My e-addy is fractalinda@yahoo.com.
Thanks Nick and Barbara for being such great moderators and to Keith who was courageous enough to call a spade a spade.
Linda

Gosh Linda I certainly hate to see you stop posting but I do understand especially taking care of your health and your personal things . I wish you well , your one of the best artist's I've had the pleasure of knowing and learning from, I'm going to miss all your wonderful art work and your caring kindness. God Bless, take care of yourself first Big Hugs Carolyn, try to keep in touch once in awhile, you will be missed. (::

Yes, Renderosity can get to you after a while. It is like being on a merry-go-round that doesn't stop. I find myself feeling compelled to leave comments under everyone's images. I find I do not wish to hurt anyone by not commenting. Take care of yourself Linda and hope you will drop in with a fractal once in a while. Marion

You will be missed! Perhaps at a later, calmer time, you will find your way back to us? I don't have the luxury of time, or a fast enough connection to allow for the frenzy. There is so much to see here in the fractal gallery on a daily basis, and it's impossible even for someone with all the time in the world to get to it all. I know I miss a lot, especially when I'm gone for several days, but I think each of us understands that all of us have real lives outside of this place. Those real lives should have priority! Take care, Linda, and don't sweat the small stuff. We won't forget the joy you brought with your art and friendship. Miriah

I sure will miss you and your wonderful artwork but I understand completely. I hope you'll pop in now and then with a hi and let us know how you're doing. ((((Linda)))) ;o)

Dont know where my post went. Will try again today.I shall miss you and your work, but be sure I will keep in touch with the odd email. The main thing is to take care of yourself. Best wishes my friend Hugs Pat

Your work will be missed, I have come to admire it greatly. Your reasons are understandable, I know I have felt sucked into the comment game a time or two. I limit myself more now. Find peace...you are headed in the right direction. Take Care. Treena

I am happy for you... I keep typing and deleting many thoughts but I'll just leave it at that. Keith

You have been too creative the last weeks and I always asked myself how you could come up with so many beauties... Why not go a slower pace instead of stopping?

I have to echo a lot of what's already been said, especially what kansas and yvonne have iterated. There just isn't enough hours in the day to devote so much time to all the things that we need to. You will be sorely missed. Your encouragement and art work is an inspiration to us all, and I hope that you will drop in from time to time just to say hello. Take good care of you and yours, and many wishes for a more harmonious and peaceful life! Terry

Once again, I will miss your lovely images and the comments you are so generous with, not just to my images but to those of others. You almost always say exactly what I am thinking, lol. Take a deep breath, relax, do what you need to do. Come visit when you are ready.

Fractals will always amaze me!

Gonna really miss you bad around here, Linda. :>( You've been such a positive and cheerful presence around here. I could go into a long spiel but I already said that stuff the last time and, this time around, I reckon I can see your point. Rendo DOES get to where it takes a lot of one's time - if one lets it. Ok as long as its fun and you don't let it get to be like "work" or an obsession. I hope you'll stop by occasionally and maybe post something. (pleeeeease!)You're images have been a real treat to view and it's been an honor and a priviledge to have had the opportunity. Have fun playing with the grandkids! May God bless you and keep you always! Rick

Thank you all for your understanding and well-wishes. Just need some balance right now. Need to step off the merry-go-round. Loved the ride, but my equilibrium is off. I'm still going into the gallery everyday for a few minutes at a time..and, maybe in a few months- when I'm not so compulsive..or "obsessed" (spot on with the word, Rick :), I'll be able to post an image or two. In any event, you're all great! Take care, Linda ps..Please do send me pictures, Vicky, and let me know how goes it for you and yours.

I'm sorry to see you leave. I hope you'll save the images in your personal gallery so that we can still look at them. I also hope you the best of luck and I hope (perhaps I should "wish" this time, to avoid redundancy) you choose visit Renderosity in the future. :)

I am sorry to see you not be a part of our community anymore, but I realize that your personal life is more important than online stuff. I will miss your work and respect you as an artist of great talents. after you have had a rest I hope you may reconsider and return at least for a visit.

I for one will be saddened by your lack of presence here, and not seeing your beautiful art everyday which has inspired me greatly in UF! When priorities get out of focus, life gets way off base and we suffer the consequences :( I would rather see you heathy and happy :) Please don't stop altogether Linda! You do need a diversion from the challenges of life. But keep it a balance :) I'm talking to myself here too, lol! Thanks for all your enlightened comments and support..you have really encouraged me greatly with your insites! I will be praying for your new ajustment and I know you will be blessed :) Love, Patt

I will miss viewing your fractals because I enjoy them and because they are a source of inspiration to me as I attempt to learn to create my own. Your loving, caring, and Christian faith shined brightly through them and that made them even more special for me. I applaud you for stepping back and doing what is best for you because I know that is not easy to do. God bless you.

Please come and visit as time permits :)

May God bless you!

I too will miss your wonderful works and completely understand the need to break a habit leaning towards obsession. I had to start taking control of my world again as well, get back to some of the pursuits outside of renderosity that are important to me, Renderosuty is such an inspiring and very addicting place to be, especially with all the new friendships we develop with each new post. Atleast that is the way it is for me. Peace go with you in your earth walk and blessings of health, wealth and happiness! Namaste, Michael

Well, I gave it one heck of a try! They say it's woman's perogative, and I certainly have it down pat. :/ I've decided I can still take care of my family and my various responsibilities..and my health..while fashioning and posting one image a day (or less). I won't be nearly as prolific with my posting or my comments..as there just aren't enough hours in the day. Sorry to flip-flop so much. I want to thank you again for your encouraging response and IMs. You're a great group of comrades! :~) Linda

tresamie ( ) posted Fri, 27 August 2004 at 2:17 PM

Balance is the most difficult thing about life, IMO. I work for it, but I don't always manage. Good luck, Linda. I hope you find a way :)

Fractals will always amaze me!

I'm tickled pink Linda!! You just have to push yourself away from the pc even though it's so easy to get lost in those fractal programs!! LOL I can spend way too long playing around...it's easy to do. So welcome back and good luck! ;o)

I'm so glad we'll be able to see fractals from you again, Linda! Your stuff has been awesome, lately. Just try to not let it get to be like work and at least once a week tell yourself that you will do ANYTHING but log in to Rendo and you'll be fine. Pc's in general can become a habit and leave you wondering just what to do with yourself when you're not sitting in front of one... Welcome back! Rick
