I want to say that I'm absolutely sick of the miserable whinging complaining moaning bitching criticising prima donnas who're up their own arses about their art. They don't like the way the voting for the Hot 20 goes, if they're not in it.

What kind of thing is that to say to anyone, someone who's done nothing criminal, just talked about a project he's working on?

If I was new to Bryce and saw all this muck-raking going on on Renderosity I'd be beating a hasty retreat to the Daz forum. Though it seems some people visit there to have extra pops at Pumeco, 'cos it isn't enough to insult and abuse him on just one forum......... Edit to add - what I have found so distressing recently is that it seems to me that what's been going on is form of collective bullying. Picking on a newcomer, or on someone perceived as an outsider, can be used as a way of bonding a group together. Pretty tough on the ones who've been chosen as the sacrificial victims, though. Get a f***ing life, and stop attacking people who've done nothing to you.

i won't touch the pumeco subject since i said i won't in a previous post. as for the idea that we're banding together to make ourselves feel morally superior or something, i'm sorry, but i completely disagree. i don't think this forum has been going through any sort of collective bullying phase, at least not at the levels you're describing. it's an amalgamated response, perhaps surprising in its size, but not in its unity. Drac (and it's good to know that you're not leaving either)

I just dont see that happening pog ,These guys in the forum are NOTHING but helpful (aside from the occasional poser cracks)

I dunno what the hell is happening..I don't want to know either. All I keep seeing is people fighting, or threatening to leave. I need to say this..it makes me feel really really sad. Me been away for a month..and man..I miss you guys..I miss bryce. I don't even have time to check my mails..and won't be able to get back to brycing till mid sept. I've gone thru enuf in this month to exhaust super woman.. not just the wedding..but George Micheal's 'careless whisper' is my shadow.

I peaked in here a few times.. a silent watcher.. gaining whatever self esteem I cld get back from here. Man.. you guys dunno what it means..when you one of the few mad creative pple in a business family..to find pple who is as nutty as you.. at least.. you get understood here. And you can talk bryce. And you get understood.

I peaked in today..and all I saw was bickering, pple leaving, or talking of leaving. I dunno if I've stepped into the wrong forum. It makes me sad. Yeah.. if some pple say your images are crap..let them.. you know what it's worth to you. yeah..if pple love your images..you know the mistakes you made in it. Take praise and critism thru one ear..out the other..you are the only one..the one who created the image..who knows its worth. No one else can tell you.

I love you pple.. i'm going thru a damn emotional time here.. been hurt by pple i thought really cared. It doesn't stop me from giving them my all though. Life is too damn short to hate, to fight.

Ive stayed out of most of these discussions, and will continue to do so. But ive seen some increasing hostility this last year, that was basically unheard of before. All i know is that everyone should take one step back, calm down a little, and stop arguing so much. Othervise this community is going to loose more than weve already lost. Ill still be around though, we booleaned aliens has a very high tolerance...mostly. :) smacks my own head twice for that Daz/Bryce ranting some time ago

I don't see much bullying here 99% of the time a member posts a question they get a valuable answer in return. As far as muck raking goes. That's more of a part of the times, people will find negativity in almost anything. I can't say that this forum, in particular, is a shining example of that. That reply to your post seems like an anomaly to me at least; I can't speak for others.

This is really going too far. From now on, lets keep negative feelings to ourselves.

MoonGoat - that's exactly what I'm requesting. That people would just consider, before posting, the effect that such negative remarks might be having on the person who's on the receiving end.
