Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 08 10:28 pm)
Netherworks has a "Poser 5 Reset MAT Script" which is available at his site, or in free stuff here (search for reset should find it). There's also a couple of materials available (from the MalePoser site as I recall) which will do the same job on individual materials, and set them to either white or transparent.
You could indeed make a material file from default settings, and apply it to any material. That's effectively what the "maleposer" materials I referred to do. The search incidentally is not to the materials but to some poses which reset the nodes for various characters (sorry). The beauty of Netherworks script is that you can use it to effect all the materials in any figure or prop (as long as there's at least one figure loaded in the scene). Works brilliantly, and almost instantaneously.

Does anyone have a script, pose file or utility that can clean out all those annoying leftover nodes in the Material room and reset diffuse and specular back to their default settings? THanks, Shogakusha
