Thanks, Ornlu. The textures are all Bryce procedurals except the floor which is a phototexture of actual linoleum tile. I've got to work on making the separation between tiles a bit more obvious. Love that old crappy green linoleum, not far from what was on our actual floor back then.

well, you're gonna need a little light, if only to see the details of the stairs..maybe a ranged light, dimming out before the stairs end? (listen to this guy, he almost sounds like he knows what he's talking about..;)
