Fractals F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 21 7:59 pm)
Welcome Matt! As stated by everyone previously, you'll find a lot of generous help, and support here. If you need anything...just ask :) Nick P.S. I'm a big supporter of freeware myself. It constantly amazes me the time and effort people put forth in creating free programs-now THAT'S dedication.

I am Matthew Schultz from Freedom of Expression: The art of Mathematics. I have made fractals for a few years now, and am interested in all aspects of their creation, mathematical and artistic. I am not really all that great, but I learn with each new image. I am a huge supporter of internet free-ware. I love free stuff and make images almost entirely with free software. This may be because I am a 16 year old without a job and no real income source. Or it might be becuase I am heavily in support of bored programmers who write freeware, being one myself. My favorite programs are Ultra Fractal (which I saved to buy) PSP8 (which was a gift when my dad got it for $30) The GIMP (free) Apophysis (free), POV-Ray (free) and other free software. I believe this is what the internet was created for, not as a spam mess, but for the general good of all. I am here becuase this seems to be a community of many very excellent artists who I can learn from. So ok, well, that's me. I'll be here as often as I can (which is limited by highschool) and look forward to talking with everyone. oh, and one more thing: Faire Quenteva Laurenya! Freedom of Expression is Golden! //Matt Schultz
