Subject: Poser 5 Dynamic Problems

Ok, I created a pair of dynamic stockings, setup the right parent (i guess Hip). It Loads well but when i go to the cloth room i get this problem: I set up a key frame and pose at key 10, set the simulation to go from key 1->10 and the drasping from pose 0 and up to key 10. Then i clothify the stockings against the body. When i calculate the draping or simulation it doesnt stop the draping at key 10 it just continues on its own. Any Ideas??

You probably have some of the stockings intersecting the leg. Do they intersect when at the zero pose? Do you have drape from zero pose selected?

Are you sure it is the draping frames you are looking at? It is possible you have set your calculation to drape for 10 frames but left the calculation at the default 30 frames? Shogakusha

why clothify stockings anyway? They don`t usually have that many folds or wrinkles in them.

Actually they do at the back of the knee:-) Really nice... Theyre fine at drape zero and all that, they drape fine its just that it continues on its own and yes i stop the calculation at 10

Wizzie - set the no. of frames for the DYNAMIC calculation to 0. Drape frames are added BEFORE the dynamic calculations, so you can think of them as "negative" frames. Meaning that if you have a set-up with 10 draping frames and 10 dynamic frames, you'll get a total of twenty frames...10 of which (the draping ones) are never able to be seen, except during the draping process. Cheers, Diolma
