Yep, and fairly generic. It's not quite like any real MF camera I've seen. But not wildly unlike any of them.

Thank you! Of course we're all very grateful for your freestuff, Gerald, but I sometimes worry that you're reading my mind to see what I want next. So often, one of your new releases makes me think "Aha! Just what I needed!" - and this is one of them. Thinking about it, you'd better keep on with the telepathy; if we get results like this, it will be worth it. Just keep out of the section labelled 'beware of the leopard' and you should be all right. :)

Well, I did raise the idea a whilke back, after I'd been fiddling with Gerald's studio set. I'd added a height morph to the lights in that, which was a quick and easy job.

As you can see, I've been doing a little fiddling with this, to give the camera a better approximation to the shape of a Hasselblad. The Russian-made Kiev-88 is a similar shape.

The real thing would need a lot more polygons, or possibly some good texture maps, to get the chromed metal along the corners. Thinking about it, you'd need one texture-map for the diffuse colour, and a similar pattern, in different shades, for the specular colour. (Black is hard to render well...)

This might be a better comparison to show what I've done. The real camera is a Russian-made equivalent of the Hasselblad. All my fiddling was done in Anim8or. I suspect I may have extended the back of the model a little too much.

Your modifications look good. All the best, Gerald.
