Not sure what paint program you're using, but if it's photoshop or some other ones with layering capabilities, I would recommend layering a transparent layer of the template on top of what you're painting. Turn the layer on to see how far "on" or "off" you are when you're painting. I would also render your texture with the template on top (at say 5 to 10% opacity), then render it onto the model to see where the grid falls. visualkinetics

Howdy all. I'm trying to put together my first texture map, rather than buy one from Zygote (or the many great artists on here). I'm having trouble with the eye part though... as you can see, the eyewhites portion up the top left I've painted white, and the eyeballs I've textured. When in Poser though, the whole eye recieves the texture for the "eyeballs". What am I doing wrong? Thanx
