I want some help from you...feel free to your critiques abt this work...work is not completed...i want to put more grass and flowering plants...

My prob was abt the window in the wall...the wall is a terrain and texture from mayang...my idea is put a poser woman in the window sitting...
I need to know is there any prob with the edge of the window or do you have any sugestions...
Is the lighting is bad?

Thnx...

ysvry is right. Some realism is whats this scene needs.

Here's a quick and dirty mini-tut that might help. Also, lower the ambiance on your texture, or better yet, don't use it at all. Your tex is almost glowing. :) Hope this helps.

Looks good so far, You can either put a plank with a wood mat, or... some bryce or imported stones as a ledge to sit on. It's not the lighting, so much as the mayang texture does not have the same shadow depth as your other objects in the scene. You can try to darken the material a bit or tweak the sun & or shadow settings in your enviroment. Also if you have an Image editor(photoshop etc) you could touch up around the window in post work to more closely match the wall. Let us know when you're finished. Have Fun ICM

2 volleys of contrast & a little touch up on the edge.

Green stuff stops too abruptly where the window is cut out. It should grow around the corners a bit.

Thanx every one for the help very much...First of all i'm sorry to post the same message two times...I can'tview my first post,so i post the second time... Thnx for the tut very much...I've tried the bump map but that's not working accurately bcoz i don't know how to make the alpha channel correctly...anyway i'll try it again... ICM says "You can either put a plank with a wood mat, or... some bryce or imported stones as a ledge to sit on" can anyone help me to model or is there any other realistic stones available... i like the 2 volleys of contrat too... Thn again for your help... Varun...:)

I'd be inclined to desaturate the texture and use it as a terrain or lattice, then flatten a squarish portion in the centre. then use the clipping brackets to adjust the width of the wall.....then apply the texture. Will search for a similar texture and do a quick render

uhmmm.......went and posted in the wrong thread. Here's what I posted in the other thread Here's a wall made with a stone texture used on a lattice. It's a bit blurry 'cos the only stone texture I could lay my hands on had a lot of white lichen growing on it, so I had to smooth everything out a bit to get rid of the white lichen areas. I used three versions of the texture 1. desaturated/messed with version for the lattice 2. original texture as material 3. different desaturated version for bump Just a very quick job, but it's a useful technique to experiment with.
