Pogmahone suggested that maybe I alter the front cliff, so it appeared the viewer was actually standing on it. I ended up with this, had to add some more terrains to the vista. Have this silly idea of maybe having a Lochness monster type thingy emerging from the mist, but feel that would maybe spoil it. ANyway would be grateful for any comments.

Looks great just the way it is imho, a Lochness monster thingy would disrupt the peaceful, serence feeling the scene evokes for me. cheers James

Looking good! There's a great feeling of distance...

Oh wow...! Make it bigger for us? Perhaps adjust the contrast a bit, to bring out more color...? I really like what you've done here, it feels downright Jurassic.

Ask Catlin about the LN Monster....btw, where is Catlin, don't think we've heard from her for ages?

I wouldn't go with a monster, but how about a traditional little crofter's house with some smoke from the chimney off in the distance.

I like it but I think the haze is a bit too high The foreground needs to be a little bit sharper. The green in the grass is a little too bright unless it's spring rye.

Oh. I like the water-coloury feeling this gives. Personally I don't think it needs anything more. Good work!
