Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 28 11:20 am)
Hi Ghost: Thanks for the reply. You know of course he wears laced-up military boots. ;-) I do have some but I'm so tired of refitting them every time I change a pose! I parented them but they keep moving. So I'm resigned to using the same pose - very boring. Sort of defeats the purpose of 'POSER' don't you think. I'm really getting depressed here; can't seem to get any further with what I have in conforming clothes for Mike. I've been working on this every day for weeks and I'm getting burned out I guess. And being a newbie doesn't help. I guess I bit off more than I can chew. I thought about using the Mike/P4 hybrid but it's too late now. I've done all the textures and trans maps and don't want to start over. Maybe I'll wait until Zygote puts out some more clothes for Mike. In the meantime I might just give away the dreds textures and trans maps, but I don't have a website and I'm on a Mac so maybe I could just put them in a post here. What do you think? Aeriol
I am on a Mac too ...That shouldn't be too much of a problem. And I haven't seen any laced up military style boots except those old ones from the Lara Croft figure but the they are props and don't bend. As far as the shirt .. Not sure what to tell you. I still have to do some work on it but the one time I trid to fake it it was a little more awkward than the Victoria exchange. It seems to me that you could do a fairly easy parenting of the figure to another figure scaled at about 102 ... and then hide most of the parts. The only thing with doing that is the file would be huge. You could also edit the figure with cr2 thingies and make just the shirt based off of Michael but I don't know how to do that. Good luck and don't give up .. The figure is looking good so far :)
