Hi all, i need to import a landscape with mountains and wood in to Poser. We will create a little Trailer with it. Sample: a Bird fly over the Mountains a lands on tree or Rock and looks over there. The importet File can not to be a exportet Picture like Terragen. I need Vector-Landscape with Texture and Objects. What is the right Softwarepackage for my little Project. Regards Micpic

If this were me project, I would create the landscape in Vue pro or Vue d'Espirit, the character animation in Poser and then user Mover 5 (an accessory for Vue from eon) to bring the two together. You could probably also use Bryce (from Daz3D), I think that will import poser animations but I am not 100%.

Bryce currently does not support poser animations. If an investment in Vue is a little too great, you should Strongly consider going over to RuntimeDNA and picking up their MicroCosm and OldWoods sets -- everything you'll need to create that scene is already made for Poser and available there :)

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

The landscape in Bryce and the free Teragen can be exported as 3ds and imported to poser. In this image I have build a landscape from Bryce 3ds objects. NUDITY http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=743345&Start=1&Artist=Torulf&ByArtist=Yes

vista pro 3 is available at the link, it can make good realistic landscapes that can be exported as dxf files for poser etc.

HI all,

thanks for INformation. Ok all Tip are very fine.
My first step was a little Work with Terragen and imported to Poser as Lightwave File. Landscape was fine but the Textures can not be imported.

First step was work with microcosm its a good idea and a very nice tool but work with the textures not so simple to become a good result to work in television quality.

I will test now with Blender and the rest of posts and send you our testresults

Thanks
