If you download uvmapperclassic from the link, run it and load your object then go to edit tools split vertices then resave the object without normals, the problem should be fixed.Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=1943061
That doesn`t actually remove all the smoothing, at the link there are more details.I looked at that link, and studied the tutorial (which enlightened me a lot, thanks), and am still befuddled. Is the trick that I don't have UV pro? I made a test .obj of a box and a ball side by side. If I just import it into poser, the box is soft. If I run it through uv mapper, the ball comes out hard. I can't make them come out "just right" Obviously, I could perform the grouping procedure you mentioned in the tutorial, but that wouldn't work very well on your Dalek in your example. Curiously, I got it to do what I wanted by loading the model into "Simply 3d" and then saving it.

No matter what I do to manipulate the smoothing properties of an object I make in Anim8or, when it gets to Poser PP, all it's corners are smoothed. What am I missing?
