Whatdoes it take to make a texture from photos of people. I have plenty of people I can photograph, but what do you need to photograph and what makes it into a texture? I have David and hi-res textures for David, is it possible to just "paint" skin from a photo onto them. I'm pretty good at photoediting, but newbie to poser. Thanks.

You can download the texture templates (blanks that have grids for the different areas to paint) for many of the figures from Daz3D. There are also some in the freestuff area. Cake One (in the Web Ring Top 15) had some tutorials on creating face textures from photos. That should give you some ideas to get you going.

Look at the awesome tutorial by Stacey73 at RuntimeDna about this -- she's great, and gives it to you step by step with lots of pictures. And then she even answers questions on it!

Hmm. Don't seem to be able to find it. Got the link right? I also searched for her name in the search fields on there and got nothing. Very odd.

Thanks. Is that the way everybody does it? Just paste the photos? Or do they use a program that allows you get it more exactly. I did my face, it's really funny to see yourself in poser. Spooky....and ugly...but a great body!!
