Subject: Apo Noise

Ok....when I open up Apo and the random batch loads, most of the flames are full of noise...how do I fix this? Thanks in advance for any help.

What do you mean by noise? Grainy? If they are grainy, go to options/render/sample density and change it to 100 after you are finished with your flame. Force the image to resample itself for the 100 value to take affect and it should come out clear.

Thanks to Avalonne for posting this question and to aeires for solving it. I was having the same problem and thought it was just something that I did. Thank you both for solving something that was bugging me. Much appreciated.

Thank you so much aeires...that worked beautifully!!

I like to do the initial work with a density of 20, so that it draws a lot faster. Then as I get closer to a presentable image, I change the density to 100 and resample as Aeries suggested. There are some images that contain some grain and no matter what you do you cannot get rid of it. I have one like that and I've tried everything I can think of and it's still grainy. I guess some pics weren't meant to be after all! William

Sometimes the grain only goes away with the right positioning of the triangles. It's a trade off between getting a slight grain or changing an image you like the way it is. Certain variations yield more grain also. Then again, sometimes that grain can be used to give the complete image a wisp look, so each image has it's own approach. Hm, amazing what you remember after a good nights sleep.
