Haven't seen it mentioned here yet, so I figured I would. E-on has recently released two new SolidGrowth plants! Anenome is a freebie, so you can just drop by to pick it up. Schefflera is $10 and looks like a plant that can adequately compete with Monstera. Both new plants require version 3.1. :) Varian

Hello i just dlw the free one Anemone I have Vue version 3.10.02 and Vue say anemone is a unsupported format.Anyone has the same problem? Is 3.10.02 is the last version?i bought and dlw almost all the plants from E-0n.Until now the only one i can not load was coral(i try 3-4 versions from E-on with the same result with version 3.1) and now this new one ,anemone.

Martial, I have downloaded and installed the new anenome with no problems. The same with all the other free vegetations. You might want to try backing up your important Vue files and folders and doing a re-install, as that seems to have helped with at least two other Vue problems. It sounds like you have the right version, so it should have worked. Are you sure you typed in the correct code number? You might want to double check that too. ........................ Varian, Thanks for the heads-up-- I was going to announce that here, but I forgot! DOH! So, where's the official membership form for that fan club? LOL Cheers, Mike

Hmmm.. this sounds like something you should contact E-on about. I'm sure they can help you. Make a note of any error messages you receive and maybe email them with the file itself attached. Or at least ask them what they might need to see. My own experience with E-on is that they're very helpful and committed towards customer satisfaction. :) I'm sorry to hear your plants aren't working, and I wish I had an actual explanation, but please DO contact E-on, and let us know how it works out. :) Cheers, Mike

Hi Martial, after you unzipped the Anemone into Vue directory, copy the "Biosphere3.dll" file into the Vue directory manually. This is not necessary with Win98. It happened to me when I was installing it into Win2K. ME should be like Win2K. Give it a try. Bill Tesign

Same thing happened here, using Win98 SE. Just had to move Biosphere3.DLL into the main Vue directory. After that, everything worked like a charm! :)

Thanks Tesign and Varian I did what you suggest about biosphere3.dll for anemone and now i can load it in Vue But for coral ,even i dlw another file from Vue site,Vue 3 still cannot read the file. But Anemone is there. Thanks again

Martial, did Coral install okay in the first place? If so, what message does Vue give you when you try to load it?

tesign ( ) posted Sat, 25 November 2000 at 10:39 PM

Oooops..should have told you to do it to the red coral one first followed by Anemone. May be you want to unzipped red coral and have the biosphere for it copy to the Vue directory first and then Anemone one again. This sometime happens to the orange tree too and can't remember red coral first or the orange tree. Anyway, my best suggestion is that when all is well, make a backup of your plants folder (that's with all your vegetation inside). The next time, after a new install, just copy the whole plant folder over...time saver. Bill Tesign

The exact message is :unable to read file e:vue d'espritplants1gredcoral.veg.I have tried different versions of the original zip ,i never be able to have this vegetation after version 3.0 of VUE.I have try all the suggestions of the Vue support.Yes Coral was the fisrt one Vue asking for code(excuse my bad english ,i am french speaking person).

Varian ( ) posted Sun, 26 November 2000 at 10:34 PM

Have you tried Tesign's suggestion? It sounds a bit strange, but basically it is this: 1 - back up your current Vue and all sub-directories just in case of problems. 2 - UnZip the original Red Coral. Move the Coral files to the Plants folder, and move the Biosphere#.DLL to the main folder. 3 - open Vue, start a new file and attempt to load any vegetation. At this point, Vue should tell you it's found a new one: Red Coral. Supply the key number for it to install. 4 - load Red Coral. If this works, you'll need to again replace the Red Coral biosphere#.DLL with the current Biosphere3.DLL. Please excuse my ignorance of French. :)

Wow! Thanks Varian...could not have explain and lay it out any better :) Thought of translating it to French but I think its going to sound like a joke and crash his system...LOL! Give it a try Martial...there is nothing to loose. The red coral is wonderful!...it has help won me a place in the Zygote recent Calendar 2001 Contest. Bill Tesign
