Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 6:52 am)
I tested Vue 4 & it came in OK....Went back into V5 & the emsh came in as above. I had to go into object edit & weld vertices & all went back to "normal". I wish I could figure out what the !@#$ is going on. Things like this annoy me...when it works for everyone else but me. I checked my pref's in 5 compared to 4 & all was the same....so go figure. Also the problem disappeared when I went into Open GL mode....I have that turned off normally as it's slow, but hey it works :)
GWeb: For your information, there is a shade forum here in renderosity. You should perhaps post there... And to answer your question, Shade7 is a great program not so expansive. The pro version is nearly the same price as amapi7 pro. Shade7 has also some interesting feature (poser import, magical sketch, powerfull lightning, ...). Of what i read on the eovia website, amapi hasn't really a rendering engine. But i agree that Shade7 isn't really user friendly...

When I import the models.....the model has these HUGE spikey things coming out if it. It renders ok...but it's difficult to maneuver with the mesh "spiking". Anyone know what is causing this???? I was under the impression Vue could handle Shade models? TIA
