BURN HIM, BURN HIM!!!!! Just uses Bryce then casts it aside like an unwanted toy. No looks like a great concept, I'm sure you'll come up with something spectacular! Good luck.

Oh, I wouldn't enter to win, just for fun. Maybe I'm looking for an excuse 'cause I just can't think of an idea. ;-)

Ok I really have to figure out a good way to keep track of all these. I don't really want to join cg, me being a hobbyist and all. And I hate that AS hasn't been able to get threads that will stick to the top. Good luck Rochr, I'll be watching all you guys with great anticipation. This is almost as good as the crystal palace challenge ;) @Drawbridge, have you got a job yet? If not get your butt working on this contest! :-D

I would love to post the progress here as well for those who dont want to join, but since it doesnt involve Bryce, i think AS would kill me. :) I can always post a "making of" on my webpage later on. But heres a sneak peak of the concept, and an early model. (AS, let me know if this ones out of line and ill delete it.)

@Ang - Nope, still waiitng for my resident status to be changed and my work authorisation to come through. SO yeah, sitting on my ass playing with Bryce all day. So no excuse really. @Rochr - My feeling is that this is a forum for Brycers, not necessarily just about Bryce. If I were AS, I'd say leave it. But I guess we'll have to wait for our leader. Looks great BTW. @Coltzero - Have you entered? There's a thread somewhere here to post links to entries.

Heh. I'm planning on using Cinema to render at least a part of my pic. :-) And mainly because of the speed. I mean, my clouds would really be PITA to render in Bryce, especially at the needed dimensions.

Hi Rudy, looking forward to that cinema "making of". I have a sf image I am tinkering with as well and looking at your stuff is a great inspiration.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

Doublecrash ( ) posted Tue, 26 October 2004 at 6:12 PM

Yep, the "making of" alone will be enough to get into the challenge. :) And Rudy's right: the real fun is learning. I just can't wait to see how other people work... this "from concept sketch to postwork" system is really fantastic. S.
