i knew i read about this before "Re: The importance of setting monitor gamma!" hope this is the right thread1 and 2 both look fine to me....and thats on my CRT monitor and on my husbands LCD attached to the notebook. That image posted in that thread is a good grab. I have it on my desktop and use it to tweak my monitor. For those that are unsure if their monitor is calibrated properly....You should be able to distinguish the difference between the last two or three tones on either end, but barely. And best to do it in low ambient light or no light at all.
