Subject: strange thumbs

hi, for some reason a couple of my thumb images have gained stripes, or even lost stripes :), i've tried correcting one over the edit image menu but it still displays the old thumb, any idea why ?

Try making a new thumb (with a new name) and try the edit again. Hope that helps :) Nick

okay, i made new thumbs but kept the old names, i'll try with new names, thank you :)

I always keep image.jpg and image-THUMB.jpg in my folders...

I do a similar naming...image.jpg and imageth.jpg. That way, when I go to upload, they are right next to each other!

Fractals will always amaze me!

I had similar trouble when my gallery was new. The solution was to upload the thumb separately from the image. Mike

no, it's not about the actual names used, its a scripting/cache problem on the renderosity server side which can be overcome by changing the name slightly. thanks nick.
