Yes, the memory patch could be the issue. Now you're saying you have a new computer so it's probably not the issue, but you COULD try a defrag too. And make sure your swapfile is big enough. What Poser version and what OS? And how much RAM do you have?

This crops up regularly, and it's bugged me from time to time as well. There's some valuable information at Curious Labs [link]. However it came back to haunt me even after I'd done that; eventually I created a new partition of about 3GB on my main (and only) disk, and put the paging file on that. Nothing else will be put on this partition. So far (fingers crossed) it seems to have worked. when I render, it said "insufficient disk space render at current resolution", but my computer is new and fast, and has lots of space how can I change the the poser memery disk space to render high resolution image.
