I'm trying to improve my UV mapping skills and I've noticed people throwing around terms like "spreading facets" and "stitching UVs together", etc. Aside from the camel tutorial on the UV Mapper website (I must be dense, because I found it hard to understand) are there any other tutorials out there that explain these procedures? I've been making some of my own Poser clothes in Wings and when it comes to mapping them so that I can texture them, I seem to run into problems with sides stretching, etc. I'm sure I could remedy a lot of it with spreading facets, but I just don't grasp how to do it. If anyone could hold my hand through it, I would be eternally greatful ;-) Thanks!
