Subject: Vicki: Ugly duckling?

Well I've had Vicki for a while now, and I'm pretty impressed. The only problem is, she's ugly by default and I have had no luck making morphs for her. I'm wondering if there are any free morphs out there that would help? I have a couple of eye fixes that help, but the eyes are still too small and maybe too far apart... I think I've got the overall shape of her face how I want it, but I can't put my finger on what is wrong with her lips. Also, the new 3-part chest has been causing me problems - I was hoping to create a narrower cleavage (ie breasts closer together) but terrible seam problems are plaguing me. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

vicki's not really so bad...I did several portraits of her recentlly they are here in my gallery...and I didn't use a single morph outside the morphs she came with...Morphworld has alot of morphs for her, and I've seen some pretty busty/cleavage renders of her at Wytches&Wyrms(SP?)... The 7of9 Character I did of for her has the 7of9/Jeri morph included in it which makes here eyes much larger and her face more natural...also I did a seasonal add on pack for my seasonal textures the add-ons are in free stuff and include the seasonal morph...but there's lots of stuff out there :) Here is one of the portraits...

Trust me, she isn't ugly. Oversized chin and faux-Oriental tilted eyesockets, true, but not ugly. Morphworld is one of your better bets for Vicky morphs, and if I can toot my plaintive little horn, check out [my site's](http://geocities.com/duane_moody) morphs section (most are for Vicky).

That is an incredible picture, D-Mentia! Reminds me a little of Marina Sirtis when she was younger... I wouldn't have known it was Vicki, or even a Poser figure at all unless you mentioned it. I'm surprised that you managed this with the stock morphs - was there a lot of post processing involved there? I am interested in animation so PP may be difficult for that. I'm just looking at your website now - great work :) Thank you very much, Matt

Sorry duanemoody, I was so overcome I didn't see your post :) Thankyou to you as well, I think I need to spend a LOT more time experimenting, I was starting to lose hope with Vicki but maybe she is just more difficult to get to grips with than the standard poser figures (and even Michael.) Really, the biggest problem I've been having is making the eyes larger - the one time I managed to get a fair result, a problem had occurred somewhere in the transfer process and they popped out the sides of her head like some weird alien eyestalks morph :) Thanks again, both

the only post work on her face was a bit of blurring around the edges, and a few more high lights and shadows in eyes and around hair line...the texture is my winter texture...it and the morphs account for the way she looks...the post work was minimal on her face...the recent portraits are here at renderosity in my gallery, I haven't added them to my site yet...I thought this one(mab) kinda reminded me of Linda Carter a little, another(dmetria) kinda reminded me of Loni Anderson, and the Dmentia one kinda reminded me of the actress who played rose dawson in titanic...as I said before, they all used stock morphs, it takes a bit of tweaking, but honestlly there is a beautiful woman in there some where :)

So little post to accomplish that... I really do have a lot to learn :( And there was me thinking I was pretty good... lol Well, we all know what the ugly duckling turned into, I just didn't realise how much hard work it took.

You either love her or hate her. *grin* I am on the latter side. But that means little. She is amazing in her versatily "if" you have the patience to learn her secrets. That's where I get in trouble. *LOL!* She is a challenge, that's for sure. This figure is close as I have come to the look I want so far. Morphs for her are everywhere, so that's no problem. Good luck! =P Veth

Well, we all love ya D-Mentia, but you could make a flour sack look like a Halston, and we all know it. :-D I agree with Vethril, I also don't care for the face on the new Vicki, but I guess I've moaned and groaned about that enough already. Say - does anyone know where there's a 'Posette head on Vicki body'?
