Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 31 9:45 am)
Ok, it DID work in another figure! I wonder if the actual model's original Geometry has something to do with this?
The model I tried to add this to was Girl, and her arms are at a slight angle, as opposed to the standard "t" modeling.
Ok, that DID work.. for some reason, the edit didn;t "take" the first time! Is there a way to link this to tapering the wrist as well, to accomodate the scaling properly?

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
Known my me? ...... umm dunno ... a while. I don't think it was really "discovered" because its just a matter of reading how the BODY scaling is achieved. If you look over some of the old Poser 2 CR2's you can pick up valuable tips. But I'm still learning. For example it was only the other day that I discovered that you can create a PZ3 file that auto loads a Python script on opening. So there is always something new to learn.

I was just thinking - imagine if one had a script that accepted a numerical value (scale) and scaled (up or down)the figure's hands accordingly, including of course all fingers etc. That way one wouldn't need loads of poses for each possible size. Do-able? Or already been done? I suppose this assumes that all figures have the same naming of relevant body parts. Alternative would be some kind of scale morph for each hand/finger and then a FBM that changed them all. Or a Body dial that somehow could change the scaling of the body parts? One could have FBM dials for left hand, right hand, left foot, right foot. And one for all of them perhaps. This however would then have to be applied to each figure type separately I guess - Judy, Aiko3, MayaDoll, Vicki, Michael etc. :] Fish
