Very nice image! Have you tried Knots3D or Pretzangles? They do some of the same type renders. I'm trying a new "program" called Bioform that renders 3Dfractal lifeforms. So far it's pretty cool and it renders in Pov-Ray. The developer says it was just something he was playing with, but it makes some very wild designs! If you are interested, check out freshmeat.com.
