Subject: Going off line for awhile

The virus that I have been battling for the last couple of weeks has won. I going to dump my hardrive a little later tonight and start all over. So, If I am not back by then MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Butch

Actually things have changed. My system restore disk doesn't work.... My cd rom can read it but it won't boot! I just looked at the disk it has sratches all over it. Hope the computer will last till I can get a new disk. butch

Butch, maybe someone you know has a disk cleaning setup, or you might be able to find one cheap. I know that there are machines that are supposed to polish the scratches out, so the disks work again. I have also seen ads somewhere for companies that do that, too. It might be more than you want to spend of fiddle with, if you have a new disk on the way.
