I can only speak from my own short experience living in eastern europe...it is best to remember who wants flowers, who wants candy and who wants tickets to the games. We couldn't get anything with money or by following the rules but those three items opened doors for us everywhere. lol Hang in there drac.
Dear Mr Draculaz, One was most pleased to receive notification of your wishes to become a citizen of Bukina Faso. Such a fine, upstanding member of the Rumanian Republic would be most welcome under normal circumstances. However, at this time we feel we should inform you that unless you have: professional qualifications in an internationaly recognised discipline that are varifiable under the terms of the Hague Convension an affidavit from your Doctor stating that you have renounced the sucking of blood a note from your mum, any application presented by your good self would unfortunately of necessity be denied. We hope this clarifies our immigration policy. Yours sincerely Umgo Bwanawhatagun (Mrs) CEO Bukina Faso Immigration Agency.

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...

It's been more than a month since I came back, and life sucks big, fat, chewy, hairy, dangling donkey... ears. I was aghast at the news of some of our forum members being banned by the top uglies. To me it proves yet again that while they're good at running a graphics community, they are horrible at the long-term moderation of a general community. Anyway, that's up to them to screw up... When I first read about it, I was ready to pack my bags too, I mean... it's me, I'd rather see myself banned than those two poor souls.
As for real life, like I said above, it kinda sucks. I'm having problems with my dear and beloved government accepting my diplomas, as if they were from Ouagadougou, and not from civilized American, Canadian and English institutions. Don't get me started. At the same time, despite voting for them, the winning opposition is causing me nothing but trouble. Because the new government hasn't been set yet, my employment file is on hold, making me wish I'd emigrate to Ouagadougou, or at least bloody well stayed in Canada when I had the chance to.
Otherwise life's liveable, I'll get broadband soon, which means I'll get back into the CGTalk thing.
Drac
(for those of you wondering, Ouagadougou is the capital of Bukina Faso)
