How do you create them? I read the tutorial on the tutorial page, but I am more in mind of seamless (wall-to-wall) backgrounds, not the tiled kind demo'ed in the tut. I really like the way Steven A. Hessler does his. ~Tim ^_^

use your creativity in painter perhaps?

If by "fractals" you mean Apophysis flame fractals. I create all of my backgrounds in Ultrafractal after exporting the flames from Apo. Using UF also allows you to mask out areas of a flame, texturize them, layer them or apply mappings like spherical to them and lots of other neat stuff. c-ya! Rick
