Tues night we got tons of freezing rain. Then it started snowing. Wed. morning...woke up to snow and white out conditions for awhile. Now...it's 1 a.m. Thurs. We have maybe 2 inches of snow. Forecast is calling for up to 2 feet of snow by tomorrow...with blizzard conditions. Here's my car this morning. Gonna have to walk to store in morning, buy a shovel and try to dig my way out. Ain't goin' nowhere though. off work till Friday night. i can just sit back and enjoy!!!! Yippee!!!!

Looks like the snow we get in the city here....all sluchy and yekky. Some guys with thier 4x4's drive down the middle parts and spray pedestrians.Jerks. Thy are the ones you usually see later down the road stuck in a ditch. Least you got snow, but looks like it is warming up by these pics and may be gone soon.

Good morning guys! Well, just got up and looked outside. It's STILL snowing. Dunno how much we got for sure, but looks like it's around 12 inches...give or take a few. Weather report" 7 A.M. snow report from Standiford Field was an accumulation of 9" on the ground. Many parts of southern Indiana had 18-24 inches of snow with a few isolated reports up to 30"." It's 10:30 a.m. I'm 10 miles from southern Indiana. But I live only 2 miles from Standiford Field. So i guess snow accumulation where i live must be around 9-12 inches. Can't just 10-20 miles to my north in Indiana that they got slammed with 30 inches of snow!!! Yikes! doug, misha, jan-carel, and anyone else who wants some snow...happy to oblige ya'all!!!! splat...splat...splat Hey...think you're safe from me in this thread???? NOT!!!! Muuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

forget the the off-roaders....they ain't movin' either! Kemal just went out to see if he could make it out of the parking lot. (his brother's car is stuck in MIDDLE of expressway 10 miles from here, but brother safe at home). anyway, guy with 4-wheel drive in our parking lot couldn't make it 3 feet out of parking lot. got stuck...took him and 4 people to PUSH it back to parking spot. pretty bad when the 4-wheel drives can't get out!!! we're stuck! Towing service told Kemal's brother he'd pick up his vehicle for $500. Kemal's brother said ok. Asked the guy to drive a few more miles to pick him up at his house...guy said no way...back roads aren't passable. sorry no pic..i'm still in pj's drinking coffee...lazy this morning. maybe later! LOL...

LOL. just reading weather reports...i think my part of town got closer to 9 inches. reading that many are without power areas not too far from me...maybe 30-45 min. from here. sad for them. Sun is shining really strong here! beautiful! one more cup of coffee...then i'll throw on my jeans and go outside, take some pics!
