Dont know much about the DiMAGE, but it looks okI think the most important thing now is what is more important the zoom or resolution?
Canon's A85 offers similar specks @ 4MP but only 3x zoom
Where as the DiMAGE offers 8x zoom but only 3MP

Hi there, I have decided to update my camera wardrobe. I have the old film dinosaurs of Mamiya, Ricoh, Minolta and an old Mavica FD7. Could anyone recommend a digital camera to me? I'm looking for 4-5 MP and a zoom lens. I'm grateful for any input. Thanks!
