Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 4:12 am)
Joe, I had had this problem with my Vue 4 Pro (don't have the others), and as it turned out the issue was my not having the most recent updates for the software. Once that was done, everything was fine. But seeing as the Pro Demo was the one that worked correctly for you, this probably doesn't help you much. :(
Joe, could you give a little more information what sort of model (file format) you have used? I think Vue 4 Pro has the most options for import, more than the others. As far as i remember. So maybe this is the problem, that you use a file format that only 4 Pro is able to deal with.

Well then it is a little weird - a little. 3DS is not as normed as it should be. So there are different variations around. Some Vue can read better, others it cant. I normally get a warnign when i use 3DS from Cinema4D, even with a very late version 8. Especially the textures are identified as a problem. Maybe you can report that issue to E-on, they are surely interested especially when different Vue versions show different ways to deal with it. Sorry that i cant help more.

I have Vue 4.22, Vue 5 and Vue Pro 4 Demo. I tried to import an object using all three, and only Pro Demo imported it corectly. Is there a reason for this? has anyone else who has all three programs installed experienced this situation? If you have, and have overcome it, would you be willing to pass this information on.
Thanks,
