Subject: FAKE DONATION E-MAILS......

I've been receiving a lot of e-mails of late with regards to donations for tsunami victims from various countries including my own. Damn how they got my addie. Tho some are legit, I would advise generous people to do a check on these organisations. A friend of mine was scammed this way. I hate to make such a curse but I wish the tsunamis took them instead.......

...Only donate to authenticated organizations. Lots of vultures out already trying to scam people for money or "sell" orphaned children. Don't fall for the "tsunami" of email scams and weasels out to profit from other people's misery...

Personally I don't see how anyone can consider a company or person that sends spam to be legit. Never respond to unsolicited e-mail.

The best best is to have more than one email address: 1.) Keep one just for friends, relatives, and people you can trust. 2.) Keep another for web communities you can trust, or maybe not trust as much as your friends and family. 3.) Keep another for online stores. I do that, and now I have no spam at my ISP's email account. All my spam comes from my yahoo email account and my web site "domain" email address.

What amazes and disgusts me is that there are vile pigs out there that will do this type of thing. Fortunately, what goes around comes around.

If they ask for donations via e-mail, they are not legit. Period.
