And Bungalo made a point that it could have been done with primitives. Possibly, but not sure about the curved edges to every polygon. So, probably possible, but I'm sure it's easier in Wings.

yeah, would be nice. but my patience breaks down. ;-) I watched the whole of Lord of the Rings, Return of the King (extended edition) and most of Spiderman 2 while waiting for this to render. Once version 6 (or 5.5 for that) comes out, then I'll up the RPP.

much better! :o) I hope you didn't think I was being harsh... especially since none of the other numerous (wish I could get that many) commentors mentioned it... but I hated to see such fine work, and then that pixellated wood texture... And just wait.. when a faster version DOES come out, you'll only be inspired to make more complex scenes, using more premium features, and your overall render time will hardly go down at all... :o)
See this is why I should have gone with my gut and not posted the reference, then no one would have been the wiser. ;-) But thanks for just listing one. There are a LOT of differences, for example the fact that the watch and eachlink are actually curved in real life, but I didn't do that.
