Hi, I am new to the fractal forum and since I've never posted here let me say hello. I was hoping I could get some help and advice finding fractal programs for Mac OSX that can do ring patterns and or grids and other geometric type stuff. Also any advice for any kinds of programs for osX would be appreciated. Attached is an old fractal image I made back in 99. I dont recall what program I made it on but I suspect it was a freeware program floating around somewhere on my drive. This is the kind of thing I am looking to generate, although smoother, better resolution would be nice. cheers soapy

I Don't use a Mac, but I ran across a whole page of Mac fractal software. Here is the adress: http://fraktali.849pm.com/fracpromac.html I'm thinking about running a Mac emulator just so I can try someof these programs. That'll be different, Mac, Windows and Linux on one machine! Hope this helps! William

Hey thanks for the link William I will check those out. Btw here is an example of what I will be using the fractals for, these are textures built up in cinema 4d. Cheers
