Monika I think these look great - You are more expert than I, so no suggestions perhaps others maybe be able to help more :)
My only reservation would be about number 10 because of the pose - the lady center/right looks like she has one arm shorter than the other.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

fantastic captures! beautiful costumes and amazing colors! love the wonderful old stuff and buildings around! Moni, these are outstanding shots and I really be stunning! ;o) But I be a color-fan, so I would prefer the first, third and at last the last one for a CD cover. Maybe front CD in B/W and back colored! ;o) but you have to decide!
If I were to choose..... I would choose, 2 , 3, 6.7,9...... I like the pose in 6 wehre you have the two woman......... perfect.....each lost in their own thoughts sorta. Also 2 is beautiful and very natural and 3 too.... i like the woman gossiping at the bottom. No. 10 has the right tones for the CD cover, I like it. Since you ask fo suggestions I will add my bit.... if you are gona use that tone better have a brick wall in the backdrop than a plain one. :O))
Thank you Richard for telling me, haven't noticed before... you're right it only seems so in B/W cause her left arm lies on the shoulder of the guy to her left ;o) and the hand you can see is from the guy behind. Yes, you're absolutely right, Raj! Thanks for telling me! I appreciate it very much! Dont't know yet wish one will be chosen by the group for the CD cover... but there are about 40 images more... LOL
wonderful captures,Monika. #:O) !!!!!! gerhard
I like the photos, good work there. As far as a CD cover, two thoughts came to mind, (both needing serious photoshop experience) :) One being creating an "oil painting" look from one of them, the other (even more work) taking your favorite, changing to greyscale, and hand coloring the image to give it an artsier rough look in the style of photos you might see from the early 1900's. Just woke up, so the mind hasn't congieled yet, I may see this post later in the day and say "What was I thinking!" hehe Good photos ~ Rich
is the newspaper gonna print images in b/w monica? or in color? these pics are awesome!!! i like 2, 3, 4 & 5 the best i used to work for newspaper about 9-10 yrs ago. didn't have much to do with photos though...just little bit. :( cd cover looks great but just me personally, i would like to see it in color. the clothes are so rich and lovely. that just my personal preference though. fantastic work!!!!!
Monika these are fantastic! The location looks so authentic too...... I like the color you've used to tone #10 but it seems on my monitor that background has blown out highlights, in otherwords, excessively bright and no detail in the wall. It could be differences in monitor calibration so what I'm seeing may not be what you are seeing......
I am, therefore I create.......

for me the whole group seems better, I like this colourful series......mmmmmm it is not that easy for make a choice....but the one on the top number 1 like the most, just crop a bit above.....I am happy that you have had a nice day......well seen....and number 10 I like too....

Ok here are the ones I tended to like the best 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9. Number two I think would have been a good image if the hand had not moved and you could have seen her face more. Number eight I thought her foot did not look well positioned. Number ten was good except I thought the space between them took away from the image. One of my main questions is about the other two men. I know these are just a sample, but they look real left out. As to my thoughts on which might go on a cover is either one or three (if all of them had been in it). I am not an expert, but those are just my preferences. You did well and I hope they send more business your way.
