Aye, the ever-elusive F#... Cool pic, though... Perhaps run some postwork on it and clean up the.... Ahh, screw it. I keep trying to COMPUTERIZE everything I see! I'll see a sky, you know? The REAL sky? And ask myself how many layers it took... I see an aluminum can and automatically UV map it. I see an animal and try to bone it. With Maya, people, not any OTHER bones...! Ridiculous.

Wow, that's a long time! I'm sure you could find another instrument you can play. Once you get the hang of one it's not too difficult to learn another. Each instrument after that gets easier and easier. Because I play trumpet I probably wouldn't be too bad at French Horn or Baritone. In fact, I've known a few people that started out on one and switch to the other occasionally. The same thing happens with clarinets and saxophones. Besides, base 3 isn't hard, it's just different. Except when you start throwing in letters, then it gets weird.
hmm..I started piano at age 7, in 1965. I currently play Keyboards, bass, drums, flute, saxaphone, mandolin, guitar, and..uh..that's it (some of them I'm better at than others. I'm not quitting my day job..;).
Never tried a Clarinet, ran out of money before I could get around to it. They sell them at Wal-Mart now (I can imagine the quality..;) I play sax by just considering it a Middle-C based instrument with an extra b flat key..;)
