I like the use of terrain in the background there as walls very interesting and something I would like to try in a future image. Try later in the day with long slanting shadows. I like to render with the true ambiance setting it makes for better shadows.

Looking sweet, MoonGoat. As to how you said you were going to run the pipe, I kind of have an idea. How about, cut of 2 segments from the back left, and make it either a 4 way or a 3 way junction. If it's 3, have it going up and then come to a 90 degree and head back and over the wall and then 90 degree down disappearing behind the wall and do what you said. Or, you can just do what you said to begin with, so..yeah..I'm gonna go...now...and do...something.
Because I like to blow $%&# up.
Don't fear the night. Fear what hunts at night.
Great start! It's difficult to look at images like this without thinking about "Myst". The telescope is a nice touch.
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Splendid. Very Myst-like. All it needs is atmosphere. A little too crisp. All my Bryce scenes look this crisp too. Haven't got the hang of adding mood in Bryce.

I like the texture on the central rock. Is that just one mat, or have you blended several? boomer's suggestion is good, it'd make it seem like something else is going on out of view. muahaha...how about if you used some kind of lens effect, with cross-hairs in the centre, to make it look like it's just about to be blown to Kingdom Come? I've seen tutorials around for achieving the lens look.
