Thank you, guys, I forgot to mention that this is most basic render now, without fine tune-ups on textures (specularity for example, which is gonna depend on final light source(s) position), render time was only 20 minutes, lol :D Also, there is no enviroment of any kind, just models, it needs walls, window, fill light and couple of other widgets :D
Kemal, put a darker grey into the spec channel for the tomatoes, especially for the cut one. And possibly a bit of reflection, too. Stems should be a bit thicker. :-) Oil is great and I'd bet the yellow colour was the main reason this rendered for twenty minutes. ;-) The board needs a bit of bump. The bread needs even more bump, so the grains rise up, cause they are quite flat now and look gamish. But all in all, it looks terrific.

Not that I can do anything like this yet, but the tomatoes look a bit flat - more like the surface of apples, need more shine, IMO. And even more, it needs a wet look to the cut tomato surface. I agree with more bump to the bread - but it looks pretty edible! Perhaps a teansy soupcon of more shine to the pepper but basically - the whole thing's pretty tasty! Fran

Special thanks to GROINGRINDER for helping me map the texture for a bread loaf, believe it or not, that was the hardest part...
What do ya peeps think, anything to add to this collection ?
How models look so far ? (modeled in SILO :P)
Thank you for the input, guys, much appreciated ! :D
