Subject: Bryce update 4.1

I just download this update from Corel site .I have read before that some people have some problems about this 4.1 version.Is it still disable open gl display rendering?What advantages to upgrade? I still hesitate.Thanks

They fixed the original problem's with the original 4.1 update.I installed it and no problem's.

well, they didn't fix "all" the original problems. Some people are still having problems with crashes, import/export, and file size issues. IMHO, unless you need the specific features of version 4.1 (there aren't that many, and none of them have decent user interfaces), then stick with 4.01 -- it fixed most if not all of the same bugs and didn't introduce any new problems.

Well i hesitate again because the new problems.Is new volumetric rendering is so good than i take chance with?For now my version 4.01 working good

the "new volumetric rendering" is exactly the same as in 4.01. In fact, they introduced a couple bugs in the volumetric rendering in the first release of 4.1... it has since been corrected in the second release of 4.1, which is what is available right now on Corel's site. Don't bother upgrading, if you ask me.
