Could just as easily be "Weather Artists", lol. About 10-15 yrs. ago I read an unusual Sci-fi short story about a small group of artists that created "weather events". Large unpopulated areas were the stage for whatever the artist decided to conjure up. The event was televised and voted on. It was considered the ultimate artform. Yeah, strange, but interesting. Sure wish I could remember the name of the author. It may have been a short story in Omni magazine. Dang, this is gonna drive me nuts now. :)

To bad, he has some very nice cloud-pictures on his site, to bad he is seeing and believing things that aren't there.
What a bunch of nutcakes.
I mean, anyone who write "A hefty 747 flies over England with the familiar salmon and teal colors of the spray mixture displayed; this is the full wingspan delivery method employed by about one-quarter or less of the chem-fleet of aircraft.".
In the past 7 months i made 4 inter-continental flights with a 747, i am still wondering where they keep those chemicals and still carry a full load of passengers and such.
Could it be that the fat lady two rows in front of me was a chemical-tank in disguise?

*Wonder if there are any; somewhere, in our midst rogue Japanese scientists. Watch the skies, Brothers!* (not a quote, just trying out his writing and punctuation style) Thought this was about Global Dimming at first, which is genuinely pretty scary stuff.Attached Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/horizon/dimming_qa.shtml
danamo - sounds like tests to measure the global dimming effects of contrails? Here's another link, connected to the BBC TV series. Ashamed to admit that I stopped watching it 'cos it got too scary. Not much point in having all that information if there's nothing you can do with it :^(I'm not laughing because I don't believe that some governments are arrogant enough to think that they can make and possibly affect changes in the global wheather,.........what amuses me is that they think they may, in the end, be able to exert some form of control over the whole mess. I still love the line from Jurrasic Park "your scientist's were so busy figuring out if they could do it, they never even considered if they should do it". Human beings are the craziest people !

Crazy Humans?? LOL, Yes indeed humans are loose cannons unleashed on this planet. Hmmm, let's reflect for just a moment. Less than 50 years ago humans were hiding in bunkers with protective goggles watching nuclear blasts. There were advertising promos for the New innovative material that was flame retardant. Now you no longer needed to fear fire because your curtains, bedspreads, and even clothing could have this magical wonder weaved into everything. (asbestos) (I've seen these commercials, LOL) Have you ever taken a walk along the roadside? where do you think brake-shoe dust goes? Our drinking water from "Watershed sources" is also partly fed from catch basins...from the street!! (as a contractor I cannot allow chemicals to go down those basins(The DEP will show up mad), I have to dump them down the drain, the waste facilities.(funny description of a big coffee filter) Paint, the solder for your copper piping, glazes for ceramics(coffee mugs)fuel for your auto(combusted & spewed into the air.....Can you say LEAD. The Romans couldn't, because they were all brain dead. This & much more can all be your legacy kids!!! Should I continue? LOL. (only if I make it to my next birthday) Crazy?

Tesla was talking about this kind of stuff almost an entire century ago. The gov't confiscated his notes and who knows what after he died. So given over 50 years to work on things... (Besides what's that HAARP thing that can cook the ionosphere good for?) Also I remember seeing crop circle like patterns on cloud tops once while looking out the window of an airliner. (I wonder how someone would hoax that?) If only I had a camera... ;) The concept is plausible, it's just getting all the information together in order to prove it that's the hard part.

HAHA! Nice joke! That guy is crazy! Yopu remember those red and blue clouds? Ever think maybe its just water vapor breaking down the sunlight just like a rainbow? I worked outside for 3 years so I'm kind of familiar with the sky. If Russia wanted to disrupt the western air force, they should be putting all the clouds they can over Sheppard Air Force Base in the city I lived in, yet it is sunny all the time. Somw of those pictures are interesting, but the reason for taking them is totally bogus. Thanks for the laugh! Edit to add: OMG! That guy thinks that big disk is some kind of antenna! Anybody that reads about those images should know that is a disk !inside! the camera that blocks out the sun disk!

Does that guy even know what a contrail is? Any airplane can make them if they are high enough because one of the products of combustion is water. Combust any basic organic compund like methane, ethane, propane, pentane, butane, octane, nonane, or decane(to name several) with oxygen and the products are always carbon dioxide and water: C3H8(propane)+5O2(oxygen)->4H2O(water(vapor))+3CO2(carbon dioxide) It is a little more complicated with aviation fuel but that is the basic principle. The water vapor simply condenses when it hits the cold air at high altitudes. Another thing, that guy should get his camera cleaned. He could be a good artist if he could focus his creative powers on something useful. Let me leave you with this: If the Russians can control the weather, why isn't their weather better and ours worse?

Yeah, I think he's nutty, along the lines of David Icke. People like that always seem to be able to gather followers and believers though! But they muddy the waters, distracting attention from the real global weather problems with their silly theories. What's really happening is just as scary as their fantasies. Wish they'd put their energies to better use.
The stuff said about SOHO is a bit loopy (as a lot of those objects are just noise), but the potential for the atmosphere to be modified by nudging it in certain ways isn't too far off. (Tesla said it was possible, and he did some ridiculous stuff that's just now being proved as feasable by others.) Whether or not those claims about weather modification can be proven is another thing. You'd have to actually fly up close into the contrails and somehow get samples for chemical analysis. Which is seems a bit risky considering the turbulence. Plus there are other factors such as wear and tear on engines or s***** fuel that could throw out particulate seeds unintentionally. Measuring so called RF or scalar modification would require some sophisticated electronic equipment and antennas. These should be able to detect various anomalous signals if observed phenomenon are being created by some ionospheric manipulation.

Its not impossible, only a with thing like HAARP changing the atmosphere (or rather the Ionosphere) is the same as trying to boil the water in a large river using a immersion-heater. It just won't work in that way. HAARP on the other hand is a very good transmitter for submarines that has to remain silent, stealth running for months on end. It can reach submarines at greater depths and they don't have to tow long antenna-cables. The old system they used before had to use relay transmitters, usually on ships, so if such a relay-ship was somewhere in a ocean than you could bet that some nuclear missile boats where nearby (given or take a few hundred miles).

Came across an amazing clouds-photo when searching for something else. At the link, click on the thumbnail of clouds in the left-hand menu. If you saw them in a painting you wouldn't believe them......Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=694625&Start=19&Artist=TobinLam&ByArtist=Yes
