I suspect that Correct Reference (in the Marketplace) will locate the right textures for you, but the maker of your items needs to know that there is a problem. You don't actually need to use the MATs just to change color; you can manually load the hair texture in the material dialogue window and save it off again. If some of the MATs are for variations in style, you might want them, so it would be good to have the maker fix it. Carolly
Maybe the problem is textures that use the same names? I have that problem with Poser 5 a lot. Even if the path is correct, Poser sometimes grabs the wrong texture. (The black MilCat MAT always applies a black dress texture instead, because they are both named black.jpg. Even though they are in different folders. CR Pro didn't fix it, either. I finally just renamed the texture; CR Pro caught the "missing" texture then, and allowed me to fix the references.)

Forgive me - for I am a beginner/intermediate Poser user. I have been using a hair object for a short time with Poser Pro Pack. I recently downloaded another character from the same creator. When I loaded the character into my Poser directory - I believe that it stored both the hair textures and the character textures into the same folder (with the creator's name) - making my hair model unusable (the mats will not apply). Is there a method by which I can extract/move one of the texture sets and still utilize both the hair and the character? For your consideration - I thank you.
