Stefan ... this baby is awesome. You do some spectacular work, but this is one of your best ... so far :) I ran this into Poser 5 ...saved out as pz3 ... imported into Vue4 ... and did this quick render.... the possibilities are enormous...street scenes, but also backdrops for other stuff....

agreed there :) this was just a quick one...sun direct light only. Vue 5 is next on my buy list...along with the botanical module

the third image you posted, Stef, has some serious so-close-to-real-you-can't-tell-the-difference quality going on with it... it very much looks so close to photographic... colour me more than seriously quite impressed...

First I want to say this item is awesome, as always. I smiled at the double meaning in the first pic, 'Black Cherry', (the figure) and 'Black Cherry', (the car). :O) I do want to mention one problem, the above picture is a promo pic at Daz, notice the fence boards are paper thin, no thickness. Being up front in the forground makes very noticable.

Have you ever considered doing a plantation model like 'Oak Alley'? See attached link. Maybe a ruined/haunted version, and a lived in version. I do book covers a soooooo many Romance writers like plantations on thier covers. I know you two, (Stonemason and Stef), are loaded with things to do, but would you consider putting it on your list, and maybe someday you would get to do it. Thanks again for the many wonderious models you've given us.

stonemason ( ) posted Thu, 24 February 2005 at 5:27 AM

Phily, what can I say..it's a low poly environment.modelling each board would be a waste of your systems resources. at least I didn't hide the fact & you can clearly see in the images that certain elements are transmapped. & Urban Sprawl is best suited for animators you'll notice also the windows are (mostly) texture based, for high detail you might check out the 'Back alley' or my next set where the fence boards and small details are all modelled. Cheers Stefan BTW,Black cherry is also a nod to an outfit 'Awful soul' gave me :)

"Have you ever considered doing a plantation model like 'Oak Alley'? See attached link" I think Sams3d(?) has a mansion type building that looks similar to that & I bet there's a ton of oaks out there(rdna maybe, unless Lisab @ Daz has made some?),..I'll put it on my list but I must tell you it's a very long list :o) "I know you two, (Stonemason and Stef)," there's only one of me,if you find another one send him over..I could use another pair of hands :)

With a fantastic package you put together I'm not complaining, I just mention it because it was in the forground and so noticable. Urban Spraw is in my cart, and as soon as I finish out my order, I'll be making my purchase. I already purchased 'Back Alley', as well as most of your, (Stonemason, Stafan, Ajax's) other products. BTW, I was refering to 'Awful Souls' outfit, I purchased it a while ago, and thought it was great work.

Philywebrider ( ) posted Thu, 24 February 2005 at 6:12 AM

Sorry about the name confusion on my part. You do so much great work I thought there were two of you. :OP

I have bought it.Very nice and lots of details
Stonemason:how can i delete only the sky?I made it invisible but i prefer to use dome sky from RDNA.It would be good if we can use separate parts
Anyway .Fantastic product

stonemason ( ) posted Sun, 27 February 2005 at 7:08 PM

"Stonemason:how can i delete only the sky?" rather than delete it you should select the body group 'Skydome' & set it to invisible, the invisisble option is under properties hope that helps Stefan
