Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 13 5:20 am)
Me too. Please, please, please guys and girls, change the 'focal length' of your face camera, or whatever camera you're using, to something like 80 or more. We don't normaly few faces from 3" in front of the nose and this is what Poser's default wide angle camera settings makes it look like.
It's OK to use wide angle settings to make 'artistic statements' in your renders but IMO, it's not OK for WIPs of character development images... Edited to add: Looks pretty good though (except for the wide-angle distorion).

Much better. Well, I love her really cute nose, nice cheeks, maybe a bit too prominent. Nice eyes, though you could add reflection to make them more alive. Bump/Displacement for the lips would be a good idea. The only thing that scares me a bit is her smile. Don't know what it is. Maybe but the teeth apart a bit and hide them more behind the lips. This may be only an expression problem. It's always hard to get a good natural smile. Overall a very well done face morph. Really lovely. Congratulations.
Comming along very nicely. I agree with pretty much everything everyone else said, particularely what Singular3D said about her teeth. They look clenched and it makes the open smile look un-naturally forced (and a little bit scary - LOL).
I don't know what combination of morphs you used for the smile but you might want to try the 'OpenLips' or 'OpenMouth' morphs instead of, or together with, the 'PartLips' morph.
'Jacki' looks particularely cute in that last pic. Keep it up and keep us posted... Edited to add: I have no issues with her 'Bob Hope ski jump' nose or the high cheek bones. Real people come in all shapes and sizes with many faults and are still very attractive or even beautifull in spite of the faults, or maybe because of them...

I am making a new character for Laura. So far, I have the face and body morphs done, and saved in my figure library. I will only be able to show her face, as showing the body morphs would violate the TOS. Just to add some realism, I put Laura in SP3's hires texture, and Madelina hair by Lisbeth. I love these pics, but let me know what you think. I am still in the process of starting the texture for Laura; whoever thought of making such a strange UV map? -The Starkdog
