Personally, I'm sticking for now with V5E + modules, and waiting to see what TGD (terragen V1.0) is like when it is released. Looking at the pre-release shots on the web-site, and taking into consideration all of the new features, it looks like it's going to provide some serious competition for existing players.

Even if it was only one day, or one minute, I couldn't care less about it.

Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

Yeah, I was referring to the Infinite release. (Mar. 14). I have high hopes of getting alot of use out of it. I got Vue Pro4 a couple of days after the upgrade options were posted to find the best upgrade path, but haven't really used it because Infinite's arrival would follow so closely and didn't want to relearn everything so soon after 4pro's arrival. Should be a tremendous improvement over Vue 4, which is what I have been using on and off up until now. It's beginning to feel alot like Christmas.

"Personally, I'm sticking for now with V5E + modules, and waiting to see what TGD (terragen V1.0) is like when it is released." I heard there was a version 2 on the way. Sub-surface scatering etc... Saw some renders of ice done in it. Stunning is all I can say... But I cannot wait for my version of Infinite to arrive at my door. Not too long noe...lol

After all the hype and the drooling a gallery full of truly stunning artwork is the least I expect! I do hope Vue artists and artwork won`t go the same way as the Hollywood film industry did, discarding artistic vision in favour of the tricks the computer can do...

Vue has been upgrading so often I am going to stick with V4 ESP till they quite bringing out new for a while. V4 did not take older .veg files and I am waiting to make sure they don't obsolete there own files for a while. Thanks for the info on TGD, I will get busy and check it out. I want a software that dosen't keep switching and that I can import all my files. I really don't intend to spend a lot on a full service program untill I see some stabillity. I guess I will allow this purchase to set me on a program that I will stick to. Got the bucks but I don't want to see the software's own files being obsoleted.
