Subject: NEED HELP WITH SAVING VUE OBJECT AS 3DS and atomspheres

I read somewhere that you can save a vue object as a 3ds file an import it into another 3D program as a 3ds file. Also you can import the vue atomspheres also. I have both Vue 5 and Cinema 4D and I am trying to import some of the Vue trees and atomsphere into C4D. Is that possible? I am at wits end trying to figure it out.

You can only export to 3ds using Vue 4 Pro/ Vue 5 Infinate (not yet released). I'm not sure about the atmospheres as I've never tried that but maybe someone can confirm whether a scene export will export out the atmosphere as well.

No, I think you must be thinking of Ozone which is a C4d compatible atmosphere plug which is more or less the same as Vue atmospheres.
