some free stuff i made
and
for almost daily fotos
Check the position of your light in the scene. Looks like the light is directly above the dog, cause there 'is' a shadow directly under him....I'd move the light forward or backward, or to either side to create a longer more noticable shadow.

Yes, there IS a shadow, but I put it there in PaintShop Pro afterwards. And the dog's material DOES have those settings for shadows. And it IS a radial light. (I have trouble getting any other lights to GIVE OFF any light) I didn't add torches outside because this is Bryce4 and I can NOT get it to display the texture outside correctly because it has no "Cubic" setting in Mat editor. The lights are not directly above the doggy, but they are above and behind. (I will change the frequency on the material though) Here's the result - no post work shadow in this one... Fran

Quest, Er... what's a "flood light"? I've looked in Bryce4 - the only one I have so far - and it just has "Radial Light" "Spot light" "Square spotlight" and "parallel light". Which one do I use? Fran

What I want to know is, why did the doggy have no shadow?
(Oh, it's Bryce 4 & a Poser Doggy)
(I put shadow in with PSP afterwards)
