Subject: Now my bloods boiling
err, actually, I don't see how this has a damn thing to do with "Art". It strikes me as more befitting the concepts of "Interpretation" and "Social Acceptability" than "Art" itself. Using art as a shield is a disservice as it will distract from the core issues at hand, which, ultimately, have a questionable place in this forum. Pedophilia, apparent age of majority and minority in a cultural subtext, and the propriety of secondary sex characteristics extremism in mesh deformation are all subjects that have little to do with a forum for Poser. Unless, that is, you have nothing better to do.
While we're at it, why not trash our computers, renounce technology, flog the government and go back to the dark ages where we can call our neighbour a witch and have them burned. (The good ol' days lol) I agree with the need for consistancy in the TOS, but I don't think that merchants should be penalized for thier creations regardless of what 'may' be created from them. Ultimatly, the responsibility falls on what the buyer created with that product. Is Einstien responsible for the atomic bomb?
hay Storm that was a bit cheap or is it free.. or something like that... besides i'm in the UK, it 11pm and i have better things to do with my time. I'm out of here to let you all rant and rave however much you want. All i've been trying to say is some products don't just step Over the mark they go back and stamp on it.

Right-thinking people are a healthy commodity.
However, I do have a problem with stretching a clearly adult 3D character into an example of child abuse. That's taking things a bit far.
Adult 3D character mesh = child abuse.
The equation just doesn't add up.

So now turning a bunch of polygons into and ADULT and LEGAL mesh equates to genocide? Mein Gott! where were you when DAZ produced a NUDE Laura in the first place? Besides I think you need to look at history a little bit more closely before making sweeping statements like that, lots of Germans complained, they also ended up in the concentration camps. I know, relations and friends of my family were among them! I am half German and Half Irish.
I don't see anything wrong or what the big deal is. So the product is for MGYT. Once applied it looks adult. Also, have you seen "young teens" these days? You would be hard pressed to pick them out among many young women. Girls are developing and maturing earlier now than they did even 40 years ago. I see this package no differen than other packages that convert Vicky to male, or Aiko to male. As for that "Mags" photo posted. First, those boobs look totally fake. I've never seen boobs shaped like wall sconces. Second, if you look at images of Asian females, 20 and 30 year olds can be mistaken for teenagers due to their shorter stature and smaller bone structure. I think people are getting bent out of shape for no reason.

FWIW...it seems to me that David is referring to something that most of us don't know about. Apparently, products similar to Wyrm's were banned from Rosity due to the new TOS (or new enforcement of the TOS?). He's not upset about boobs on Laura, he's upset about the uneven enforcement of the TOS.

Well in that case he should have directed his attack against Rendo and its' policies instead of trying to attack the morality or acceptability of wyrmmaster's product. If it is not the product, but double standards, that offend, why not simply say so?
I am all for the EXPOSURE of double standards here, and I don't need wyrmmaster's magnets to do that! :0)

Oh, for cripes sake >:(. I had several girls in my 7th grade class that were overly developed & already in a size C cup at age 12/13!(I'm now 45). Perverts will use this in a bad manner...normal people will use this in a normal manner. I mean really, you can scale the PT's up or down...same with V3/M3. This product or any of said merchants stuff interests me none. I don't want my characters to have HUGE boobs...IMHO it's not natural. I'm a natural person, so huge knockers to me are hideous, whether it be 3d mesh or via silicon implants. As a matter of fact, most men hate implants...all I've heard men say is they are hard as rocks & feel like tennis balls. Men can tell instantly if boobs are fake or real. Anyway....how many times is this dead horse going to beaten? I have no problem with this product, its just not for me.
Well at Least he is reshaping the mesh to make it appear like an adult female unlike thosepeople who simply add a pair of wings and pointy ears to nude female children figures and hide behind the thinly veiled cover story of them being 800 year old "faeries" ;-/

And I bet for a couple of years the boys fell over themselves trying to date her. But, then it all went away in her early twenties.
Lots of girls opt for breast reduction surgery at that point. I can't blame them. An asset becomes a impediment. nature can be very cruel to some. Now we are back to discusiing ideal breast sizes. How did that happen?

Some men like giant chests. I am not one of them. Big chests are fine; giant chests are not.
I've seen pictures of 100% natural breasts that must have weighed 50lbs. each......on women like the old 1960's/1970's model Chesty Morgan.
To my taste, it just looks deformed.
I can just see all of the under-35's rushing out to do a google on "Chesty Morgan" right now...........perhaps some of the over-35's, too..........
Besides being a mod in this forum I'm also a product testet. In fact I'm the one who tested and approved this model. Before doing so, I checked with a couple of other people and we determined that there is no TOS issue involved here. This is an adult figure.

This is ridiculous. Sigh.... It's a mesh. She doesn't actually exist. Laura doesn't 'exist'. Or maybe you missed that basic point?! Duh. And once the mesh is morphed using W-Master's set, it looks sort of 'adult'. Remember Sweetheart, the name 'Young Teen' is what DAZ uses to sell a mesh. Once morphed it is no longer a teen, it is something else. Remember also that the Laura Young Teen mesh is based on the same base mesh as Vicky 3 for instance. Are you screaming about her too? Also, if you have a problem with the Laura mesh naked , you can always put 'clothes' on it, keep your eyes closed until you have the clothes on, lol! So? What's the problem? Maybe you and some other Mother Grundys here need to get a life or something. Byrdie - what utter nonsense. Trying to make a pseudofeminist thing out of this, are you? Boooooring. well, the supreme court already ruled that CG cannot be child porn...so the only thing riding on this discussion is someones's interpretation of the TOS here at Rendo. This is so much totally bullshit. I think rendo aought to just get rid of anything that may remotely kindle some kind of sexual overtones....and while they're at it, they surely should get rid of all the frickin clothes..that even most hookers wouldn't wear...especially those strap thing across those 44EE knockers and through the groin area. it only cruelty for humans if you're standing anywhere near...but in the CG world, no one is "really" involved, you see :) Is there anything in any TOS regarding things such as that? Oh..the point...its nearly as ridiculous as the rest

Oh you guys just don't get it... There aren't meshes in the Poser box, those are REAL PEOPLE in there!!! Yes, Vicky is a real person with wants, needs and desires. When you turn off your computer she's trapped... TRAPPED I tell ya! Trapped in that little cube which is the Poser world. And Michael 3, poor thing, can't keep his penis on. It's a real penis too. I can't believe DAZ did that to him. What is Mike's penis doing when it isn't attached? I shudder to think. I mean you just know something's wrong here as all the little people in poser are BALD to start with. I mean completely bald!!! No armpit hair! No hair on their big toes!!! Something terrible is happening and we've got to do something. And quickly before more little Poser people show up! :D
