Subject: Now my bloods boiling

"I think I'm going to see if my Mil horse can get it on with the mil cat."

Rnderotica has had some interesting discussions on that whole topic with reference to bestiality depictions.

I am curious as to what the TOS here states as regards Beast on Beast sexual/reproduction images.

I have a friend who is a vet, and we have discussed the possible use of Poser to create a visual reference manual for farmers in Ireland that are going back to Bull on Cow fertilisation.
Just in case anyone thinks I am Joking, I am not.
AI or Artificial Insemination has been used for years in Ireland, however, farmers are now going back to the "natural methods" after many years, thus the interest in a visual manual.

Anyone got thoughts on the issue?

There is probably a whole market out there for pet breeding manuals, not to mention Zoos and rare species. From Goldfish to Hippos.

I'm in the camp of "whatever floats your tools", or however that goes. I honestly thing the TOS here and at DAZ is way overblown, but it is their site and they can do with it as they desire....and of course, we have a choice of being here or there or not...and if we stay, we must abide by their silly TOS. But then it comes full circle to the original post, which I think may hsve been misworded to convey the child porn thingy....if there is a TOS , it must be followed across the board by everyone...equally..no favoritism. The thing I doon't like is when people are trying to tell me what I can't see, can't read, can't do..that is none of their business....and then they try to make all kinds of rules and laws to comply with their sense of morality.

BOING...brainstorm... we should set up a committee of members...we could be our own judge and jury...to over-ride and keep watchdog on the rendo interpretations... we could call it the "equality and fairness panel" yes...... Well, enough of this..I'm going to watch some NCAA hoops..college basketball is a blast.

Hmmm... This is SO stupid on SO many levels. It's a character set. It takes a product that looks like a young teen girl and makes her look like a hot 20 something woman. Somehow I don't think the mesh is going to call Child Services. I don't think it's "parents" or other concerned meshes will either. Frankly, I don't think Child Services would take the case anyway, since it's a MESH, not a living person. It's gets worse. Think about it. Child pornographers WANT the figures in their pictures to look young and innocent. Wrynmaster's set makes the figure an ADULT. It's actually useless to the kiddy porn people, since it won't give them the results they want. Get a life people.

Ad Hoc committes already exist that keep watchdog on Rendo interpretions, but they are generally classed by the PTB as troublemakers, old guard (Jack and Ed supporters), Poser Forum ride-into-town Terrorists (big list there), mavericks, and general lunatics (I can think of at least one there).
The real question is in which category we put ourselves? ;0)

" see David Amos' view. With these morphs, Laura could be just a short adult, but she could also turn into an oversexualized child. Personally, I thought on her release that this figure could cause a lot of controversy." You mean this one? I thought that had been answered

STORM3 ( ) posted Fri, 11 March 2005 at 8:04 PM

Well there is a big difference between marketing and the finished render. Bottom line, every render is judged on what it looks like. Turn Vicky into a 14-year-old child and put her in a sexual situation and you are going to be turfed off this site and most others. So it does not matter a damm what people produce and make, it is how you use that product. That is where the responsibility lies. Misuse or abuse of a product to produce Child Porn is the responsibility of the artist. You can use the standard V3 Morphs to produce a waif-like kid and and then use scaling to turn that mesh into a 12-year-old look-alike. Should DAZ withdraw V3 as a consequence?

elizabyte ( ) posted Fri, 11 March 2005 at 9:15 PM

So, hang on. Is it really the case that some people think that a mesh (i.e., a collection of polygons, vertices, etc.), which is based on an .obj file (a text file, for pity's sake), is somehow an actual person with a real life age? bonni

This thread is starting to get carried away, and everything that can be said already has, so I think I'd better end it
